How to play Whack-a-Mole
Whack moles as fast as they pop up and watch out for bombs.
Goal
Whack-a-Mole is the timeless arcade carnival game. Pesky moles pop out of 9 holes across the lawn. Your mission is to tap or click them down with swift hammer strikes before they duck back underground!
Each round lasts 60 intense seconds. The spawn rate accelerates dramatically as the clock ticks down.
Mole Types
- Standard Mole (Blue Cap): Common visitor. Whack for +10 points and +1 combo.
- Cool Mole (Sunglasses): Quicker reflexes. Whack for +20 points and +2 combo.
- Golden Mole (Crown): Rare and lightning fast. Grants a huge +50 points and +3 combo!
- Bomb Mole (Ticking Bomb 💣): DANGER! Whacking a bomb detonates it, shaking your screen, deducting 30 points, and breaking your active combo streak!
Combo Multipliers
Striking moles without missing or hitting bombs stacks your combo multiplier: x1.0 ➔ x1.5 ➔ x2.0 ➔ x2.5... High combos in the final frenzy will skyrocket your high score!
Controls
- Desktop: Click directly on rising moles. Your cursor turns into a cartoon wooden mallet that slams on click.
- Mobile / Touch: Tap anywhere with your fingers. Multi-touch supported for two-handed whacking speed!
