Tower Stack

How to play Tower Stack

Tap at the right moment to drop each floor and build the tallest tower.

Goal

You are building a tower out of flat, colourful floors. Each turn a new floor appears and slides back and forth over the top of the tower, alternating between two diagonal directions. Drop it at the right moment so it lands squarely on the floor below. Whatever hangs over the edge is sliced off and falls away, and the new floor keeps only the part that overlaps — so the higher you go, the narrower the top can get. Miss the tower completely and the floor tumbles off, ending the game. Every floor you stack is 1 point, and your best height is saved.

Perfect drops

Drop a floor almost exactly on top of the one below for a “Perfect”: nothing is cut, a ring of light spreads out and you hear a chime. Chain several perfects in a row and the chime climbs higher; from the third one on, the new floor even grows a little, winning back some of the lost space.

Controls

  • Phone: tap anywhere on the play area to drop the floor. Tapping the sound or pause buttons never counts as a drop.
  • Computer: click the play area, or press Space / Enter / ↓ to drop. P or Esc pauses, M toggles the sound.
  • Hiding the tab or switching apps pauses the game automatically; press Resume when you are back.

The first few floors slide very slowly so you can get the feel; the higher the tower, the faster they move. The colours shift as you climb, the camera rises with the top of the tower, and when the game ends it pulls back so you can admire the whole tower you built.

Tips

  • Don’t watch the moving floor — watch the edge of the floor below and drop the moment the new edge lines up with it.
  • The floor moves steadily and turns around at each side; if you miss the timing, just wait for it to come back — there is no time limit.
  • Keep a calm, steady rhythm: one big cut low down makes every floor above it narrower.
  • When the top gets thin, go for a chain of perfects so the floors grow back.

About Tower Stack

Tower Stack is an elegant, rhythm-based arcade game where you build an ever-rising skyscraper out of colourful geometric blocks. In clean isometric 3D visuals, each floor slides steadily across the top of the tower from alternating directions. Your goal is simple: tap or click at the exact moment the sliding slab aligns with the platform below.

Precision is everything. Any overlapping edges that hang over the edge are sliced clean off and tumble away, leaving a progressively narrower surface for subsequent floors. However, chaining flawless Perfect placements produces rising musical harmonies and eventually restores the width of your slab, rewarding patient timing.

FAQ

What is the secret to timing the drops?

Anticipate the steady pace of the sliding block rather than reacting at the last microsecond. Tapping with consistent rhythm helps maintain steady alignment.

What happens when I get consecutive Perfect drops?

Landing consecutive Perfect drops triggers rising musical chimes. Score enough perfects in a row (8+) and your block expands in size, giving you more breathing room.

When does a game round end?

The game ends immediately when a sliding floor misses the platform underneath completely and plunges into the abyss.

What controls can I use on PC and mobile?

On mobile devices, simply tap anywhere on the screen. On desktop computers, you can click the mouse or press the Spacebar to drop the floor.
