Block Grid 10x10

How to play Block Grid 10x10

Drag blocks onto the grid and fill rows or columns to clear them.

Goal

The board has 10 × 10 squares. Below it (or to the right, when you hold your phone sideways) there are always 3 blocks in all sorts of shapes: single squares, straight bars 2–5 long, 2×2 and 3×3 squares, L shapes, T shapes, S/Z shapes… Drag each block into an empty spot on the board. When a row or a column is completely filled, the whole line bursts and becomes empty again. Once all 3 blocks are placed you get 3 new ones. The game only ends when none of the remaining blocks fits anywhere — there is no timer, so take your time.

Scoring

  • Every square you place is worth +1 point.
  • Every cleared line gives a bonus, and clearing several lines at once is worth a lot more.
  • Keep clearing lines turn after turn (never more than 3 placements in a row without a clear) to build a Combo: the bonus multiplier climbs x2, x3, x4…

Controls

  • Mouse: press and hold a block, drag it onto the board and release. The faint shadow shows where it will land; no shadow means it doesn’t fit there, and the block flies back when you let go.
  • Touch: touch a block and drag. It floats above your finger so your finger never hides it — just line up the shadow on the board.
  • Keyboard (optional): keys 1, 2, 3 pick a block, the arrow keys move it, Enter or Space places it, Esc cancels.

Blocks can’t be rotated. A block that has no room left anywhere is faded out. If you close the page mid-game you can carry on next time.

Tips

  • Don’t drop blocks in the middle of the board: pushing them to the edges and corners keeps big open areas free.
  • Always keep room for the 3×3 square and the 5-long bar — they are the hardest to fit and lose most games.
  • Look at all 3 blocks before placing the first one, and pick an order that leaves room for the others.
  • Go for two or three lines at once and keep your combo alive — the bonus grows fast.
